City Chic
US$630–840
C$900–1,200
A downtown hotel, the big dinner, brunch, a night that runs to 3 a.m. and an afternoon at a Nordic spa.
What moves it: very little is fixed. The city has a hotel, a dinner and a night out at every price, so this weekend bends the furthest to fit the group.
See the weekend →Laurentians Escape
US$700–910
C$1,000–1,300
One big chalet split between everyone, a private chef night and the spa.
What moves it: the house and the drive. Getting everyone up north adds to the bill, but most meals happen at the house, so dining costs less unless the chef is cooking. The bigger the group, the better the house splits.
See the weekend →Townships Wine & Wellness
US$670–880
C$950–1,250
A country inn or a house in the vineyards, tastings, a long farm-to-table dinner and a slow spa morning.
What moves it: getting around. The vineyards are spread out and someone else should do the driving. Meals cost less out here, apart from the long dinner you'll want to linger over.

What moves the number
Four things set the budget.
When you come
F1 and the big summer festivals push hotel rates up. Late fall and winter are the softest months, and Montreal does cozy very well.
How many of you
Bigger groups split a house further. Past ten people, a chalet often comes in under hotel rooms per person.
How big the nights get
A cocktail bar and a table with bottle service are two different evenings, and two different numbers.
The bride's share
Most groups cover the bride. With eight of you, that adds about C$130–170 each.
Montreal bachelorette cost FAQ
Good questions.
How much does a Montreal bachelorette cost per person?
About C$900–1,200 per person (roughly US$630–840) for a two-night city weekend with shared rooms, tax and tip included. A chalet in the Laurentians runs about C$1,000–1,300 and the Eastern Townships about C$950–1,250. Travel to Montreal is extra.
Is Montreal cheaper than other bachelorette destinations?
Often, yes. The Knot puts the average bachelorette guest at about US$1,300. With the exchange rate, a full Montreal weekend usually lands under that for groups from the Northeast, even with a short flight.
Are taxes and tips included in Montreal prices?
No. Menu and hotel prices in Quebec are shown before tax. Sales tax is 14.975% (5% GST plus 9.975% QST), hotels add a 3.5% lodging tax, and the custom is to tip 15–20% at restaurants and bars. The numbers on this page include tax and tip.
Should we pay in Canadian or US dollars?
Pay in Canadian dollars. Cards work almost everywhere, so bring one with no foreign transaction fees and choose CAD when the terminal asks.
Does this include Big Weekend's planning?
No. These are the costs of the weekend itself. Big Weekend's planning is quoted separately once we know the group and the dates, and it's free to ask.
Costs are typical 2026 prices per person for two nights, two to a room or one shared house, with tax and tip, and move with dates, group size and how big the nights get. Travel figures are typical round-trip fares and driving costs when booked a month or two out. US dollar figures use the Bank of Canada daily rate. Average guest spend: The Knot.
